​Hubert Vaz-Nayak, Managing Director

 

Hubert Vaz-Nayak is an accomplished entrepreneur, investor, and board leader with a record of building companies, scaling operations, and driving strategic growth across industries. He most recently co-founded Graviti Energy, Texas’ fastest growing EV charging infrastructure company, where he has been instrumental in shaping strategy, securing partnerships, and guiding rapid expansion.

In addition to his executive work, Hubert plays an active governance role across multiple organizations. He serves on the boards of Graviti Energy, Muse Mantra Franchise Company, Serenity Seaside Resorts, TIE Houston, the US Columban Alumni Fund, and CLH Partners, and is a Board Observer at Lidrotec and Fibercoat (both based in Germany). He also leads the Chicago Booth Angels Network of Texas and TIE Houston Angels investor group, where he works with early-stage founders to provide not only capital but also mentorship and strategic guidance.

Earlier in his career, Hubert drove business transformation and growth at BMC Software, advised Fortune 500 clients as a senior strategy consultant with Accenture, and co-founded and scaled consulting firms including Thoma Bravo backed Eclipse Networks. He also held management positions at AT&T Wireless, where he was instrumental in the creation and launch of not only the flat-rate mobile phone plans, but also leading efforts to bring emails to smart phones for the first time.

Hubert holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, and an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
